Conan Lomas

Conan Lomas has been based on the Gold Coast for 8 years and has an enormous wealth of experience and knowledge in all aspects of optometry, eyewear and speciality lenses from his 23 years in the profession.

He is dedicated to providing the highest standards of healthcare, eyecare and eyewear that is unmatched on the Gold Coast.

The optical and imaging technology he has brought to his clients at Parker Hamilton is unique on the Gold Coast.

His attention to detail and his level of empathy for people are renowned far and wide with clients from all over Australia coming to see him for personal attention and a unique experience.

He has a special interest in many aspects of optometry including contact lenses, dry eyes, high refractive index spectacle lenses and has an exceptional ability to make the complicated simple.

Conan’s passion for optometry came from him having to wear spectacles from the day he was born and his disappointment in receiving ugly horrible spectacles for the first 25 years of his life. He believed he could do much better and so he decided to go into the profession himself and dedicate his life to helping others.

In 2013 while living in South Africa he designed, built, and funded one of the world’s largest specialised mobile eyecare units to assist in helping the impoverished receive proper care which he donated to the optometry department at The University of the North.

His high end practices in South Africa serviced the countries president and its cabinet along with high powered business people, famous actors, personalities and everyone else who wanted to receive the very best in care and fashion.

In 2015 he immigrated to Australia for the sake of his children’s future and now raises them on his own along with directing the Gold Coast’s most high end optometrist Parker Hamilton.

He designed Parker Hamilton solely for those that simply want the best in eyecare, personal attention, customer service and the best possible lenses and frames.

Conan no longer practices optometry in Australia; however, he contributes a wealth of knowledge to enhance the services that the optometrist provides.
